Chef Yogi is also known as Yogi Bear to his friends. With nearly 20 years of experience in the food industry and over 10 years of experience in various cheffy roles, he has magic in his hands! No, we are not kidding. You have to taste his food to believe it.
Chef Yogi developed a passion for cooking while helping his mother in the kitchen. He started his career as a kitchen helper in his father’s catering business at the age of 16 and went on to work with top outlets like Fei Fei Kopitiam, Mr. Ho, Jarrods & Rawlins, JD’s Fine Foods, FatBoy burgers, Chapter One Bar& Bistro before taking up helm at White Horse Tavern.
He loves playing with flavours and textures, above all he loves meat! He is well known for using local produce to create bold flavours and creative twists that elevate comfort food to gastronomic delights.
His specialties at White Horse Tavern include perfectly grilled ribs, juicy burgers and lip smacking pub grub. The customers keep coming back to get more of his honey glazed BBQ Ribs, innovative thin crust pizzas and can’t seem to get enough choosing from the well stocked Deli and letting him work his magic.
